  Please explain how disfellowshipping is a loving gesture

  can someone please outline the rationale and scriptures used to support the idea that disfellowshipping is a loving gesture?

  i am trying to understand how this behavior is justified, when in my mind in seems a simple matter; one only needs ask oneself, 'if jesus (or jehovah) were standing next to you, would jesus (or jehovah), support any shunning-type actions?

  ' i find it very difficult that the answer would ever be 'yes'.

  Answer: It is not! This measure is often used for control and in some cases, revenge by the Elders. This whole method is taken out of context. The really big problem with JWs anyway is the lack of or desire to "think for yourself." These are simple robots directed by the latest orders from New York. Everyone LIKES to be told what to do. They feel like they belong and don't want to answer the really hard questions! When you do ask the tough questions, you pay the price of "disfellowshipping." -----IT IS A FACT!!!!

  Just like I have been saying: One step at a time, the WTB&TS will be found out for what they really are.....DECEIVERS! Too bad the R&F don't have the courage to revolt and force the REAL TRUTH out into the open. The true weakness and lack of thought of the average JW is embarassing to everybody. But there are other hard line questions the so called leadership will be forced to answer on camera.

  i addressed it to a couple of elders.

  one elder i feel i can trust and one elder is in the congregation i used to attend.....*cough* still assigned to....it is just a letter which expresses my concerns and doubts and personal issues with the wts and congregation(s) i did not go it to much detail but it should be enough for them to at least understand my veiw point.

  i have asked if they could reply to me...or at least make some kind of comment...even if it to just try and ease my doubts and concerns.

  The only bad "thing" I can clearly see is that a lot of innocent, well meaning people will be thrown in with the sick bastards and have to go through a lot of pain and suffering. But then, I think, are these not the same people that just stand by or in most past cases stood by and done NOTHING when they should stand up and MAKE change in the Borg Org?
